Great Hold-Ups Inc. has been designing and market testing innovative display products that began in 1988 with a single portrait frame easel. With more than 35 products and counting, primary attention (until recently) has been given to product development, the patent process, and broad market testing. This has attracted diverse international interest among publishers and booksellers, trade show exhibitors, picture framers, fund-raisers, sign makers, industry, institutions, and governments.

A design feature maintained throughout is that all Great Hold-Ups pack flat. If it doesn't pack flat, it's not a Great Hold-Up!

The designs are the brain child of Isaac N. (Ike) Glick. With a training background in theology, community development and psychology, along with design inclinations, Ike retired from a previous position in the early 1990s to devote full attention to Great Hold-Ups Inc. Ike and his wife, Millie, share equally in the business and both contribute to the company's operations.
